Terms of Service
The rules for using Block Builds and its PRO subscription, in plain words.
1. About these terms
Block Builds ("we", "us") runs bbuilds.app, a catalog of step-by-step Minecraft build guides with block lists and 3D models (the "Service"). These terms are an agreement between you and us about using the Service. By using it, or by creating an account, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy are part of these terms.
2. Who can use Block Builds
Anyone can read the free guides without an account. To create an account you must be at least 13 years old, or older where the law of your country sets a higher age for agreeing to online services without a parent's consent. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf before you buy PRO.
3. Your account
An account keeps your progress, ticked-off blocks and saved builds across devices, and is what you subscribe to PRO with. Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@bbuilds.app if you think someone else has used it.
You can change your name, email and password, sign out other devices, or delete your account at any time in Settings. Deleting it removes your progress and saved builds for good. An account with an active PRO subscription cannot be deleted until the subscription is cancelled.
4. Free and PRO guides
Free guides are complete: the block list, the 3D model and every step. Builds marked PRO show their first layers for free; the rest of their steps and model are part of a PRO subscription. What PRO includes is described where you subscribe, and we may add to it.
We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but guides are written by people and models are converted from schematics, so a block count or a step can be wrong, and the Service may be unavailable at times for maintenance or reasons outside our control. Tell us about a mistake and we will fix it.
5. PRO subscription and payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Polar Software, Inc. ("Polar"). Polar sells the subscription to you, takes the payment, issues the receipt and handles sales tax or VAT. When you pay, Polar's Buyer Terms apply to the purchase as well; these terms cover your use of Block Builds itself.
- Price and billing period. The price, the currency, any tax and the billing period (for example monthly or yearly) are shown at checkout before you pay.
- Automatic renewal. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period and you are charged again at the then-current price, until you cancel.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time online, from your account page or the link in Polar's receipt email, or by writing to support@bbuilds.app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; PRO stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Price changes. If we change the price, we will tell you by email before it applies, and the new price takes effect only from your next renewal. You can cancel before then.
- Refunds. Your first PRO payment is refundable on request within 14 days. The details, and when renewals are refunded, are in the Refund Policy.
If a payment fails, Polar may retry it; if it cannot be collected, PRO ends with the paid period.
6. Using the Service fairly
The guides are for building in your own worlds. You may not:
- copy, republish, sell or share PRO guides, models or schematics, or share your account to give others PRO;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Service, except search engines indexing public pages;
- get around access controls, rate limits or the paywall, or probe the Service for weaknesses without our permission;
- disrupt the Service, or use it to break the law or anyone's rights.
You are welcome to share links to any page, and to show and stream what you build from our guides, ideally with a link back.
7. Content and trademarks
The guides, step orders, text, images, 3D models and the site itself belong to Block Builds or to the people who licensed them to us. Using the Service gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view them and build from them; it does not transfer any ownership.
The 3D viewer's block textures come from a resource pack published under the Creative Commons BY-SA licence, credited in the viewer.
Block Builds is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB.
8. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example by sharing PRO content or abusing the Service. Where we can, we will tell you why first and give you a chance to respond. If we close an account with an active subscription for reasons other than a breach of these terms, we will refund the unused part of the paid period.
9. Disclaimer
Apart from what these terms promise, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data or lost time in your Minecraft worlds, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us exclude.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email or on the site at least 30 days before it takes effect; if you do not agree, you can cancel PRO and delete your account before then.
12. Disputes
If something goes wrong, please write to us first at support@bbuilds.app — most problems are sorted out quickly that way. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in its courts. Payment disputes are also subject to Polar's Buyer Terms.
